Summer Renovation at Greenwood Public Library

The Greenwood Public Library will undergo major renovations from June 15 to August 10 in order to expand our reading areas and improve accessibility for all visitors. During this period, the main building will be closed to the public. We understand this closure may inconvenience our patrons, so the library has arranged the following alternative services: • A temporary reading room will be set up in the Greenwood Community Center (200 Oak Street) from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays. • Books can be borrowed and returned at the bookmobile, which will visit local parks and schools on a rotating schedule. • All due dates for items currently checked out have been automatically extended to August 25, and no overdue fees will be charged during the closure. Online services, including e-book lending and research databases, will remain fully available through our website (www.greenwoodlibrary.org). Library members will also receive priority access to a special preview event on August 11, one day before the grand reopening on August 12.
